Tracks B1-B3 taken from singles released on the Modern Label in 1950 with Jimmy Witherspoon on vocals backed by the Jay McShann 9-piece orchestra with Maxwell Davis on tenor sax. Tracks B4 & B5 are also Modern Label singles released in the early 1950s. The Buddy Floyd sextet backs up Witherspoon on Track B5.
