Printed on back cover: This 2-CD package presents a comprehensive sampling of George Goldner's legendary Gone Records from New York City. It contains 65 tracks from 51 different artists - covering the label's output from 1957 to 1964. It is the last in a series of four CD's which document Goldner's four major 1950's independent record labels - Rama, Gee, End and Gone.

Digitally remastered from the original 1/4 inch session and production tapes. Due to disappearance or deterioration of original tapes CD 1 Tracks 5, 7, 11, 18, 22, 23 & 27 and CD 2 tracks 8, 9, 20, 32 & 33 have been remastered from pristine vinyl sources.

Tracks 1-12, 1-13, 2-11, 2-12, 2-23, 2-26 are previously unreleased alternate takes. Tracks 1-21, 1-30, 2-3, 2-5 are previously unreleased stereo versions.
